Happy new year to all

Hope every body has a great new year gig tomorrow where ever or how ever you celebrate it.

3 indiana style whips  6 foot 5 inch black and red bullwhip

Did not get the expected white xmas here in moray, but have had a deep frost over everything the last few days. Great weather for hiking the cairngorms and if your really adventurous, night sky watching from the mountain tops.

Recent projects

Just a few projects made in the last four weeks.

Not very often that a job like saddle panniers turns up, took three half sides of latigo to make these and alot of hand sewing.

Next is the after and before photos of a very old steering wheel in dire need of attention - covered this with black latigo and tan leather lacing. Turned out really nice.

Made these quivers out of left over pieces of leather. Make various items from left overs which are all nomally made to various designs I have dreamt up.

Buckskin jacket - another item not called for much, surprising considering how comfortable they are.

Christmas greetings

Just a short offering of cheer for the festive season, to one and all who know me and even those who don’t. Hope all your wishes come true in the new year and that you enter it with quite a clear head - except for the exception of my fellow Scots who if experiance repeats its self won’t know what day it is until the 2nd.

leatherwise, I have a full set of pack saddle bags to build for xmas and a viking shield to make for january with scenic carving on the front. Plus the usual whips and I’m gonna try my hand at leather tankards - should be fun especially the dipping in wax, I have asured the wife that it won’t make as much mess as when I make the armour but it looks like I’ll have to use the camp stove in the shed this time!! - such is life.

Cheers and merry christmas.
